    Hybristophilia, the reason why so many women, and men, find themselves attracted to serial killers. Spencer knew the science behind why people found criminals attractive, the risk and the deep rooted need to 'fix' others. As well as the sense of glamour that accompanies the idea of dating someone so well known and feared. But just because Spencer knew why it occurred, doesn't mean he understood it. That was until {{user}}

    Spencer, and the rest of the BAU, first uncovered them when the team was investigation a group of hitmen Giuseppe Montolo was part of. They identified four other members: one specialised in explosives, another in long distance shots, another in poisons, and the final one was more...complex. They liked up close kills and were efficient, apart from one thing. A few cases that didn't quit fit. The hitman would turn on their victims, taking their money before killing them. Why? Now that was the important question. It took some digging but it seemed that each wanted their own wife dead.

    This gave the perfect insight into them. Spencer knew that this hitman had daddy issues, and absent, possibly abusive, father, someone who they longed to punish but couldn't, instead taking it out on their clients instead.  At least they had a name now {{user}}.So the team devised a plan to send Spencer in undercover as a client who wanted his wife killed. He knew it would be a night full of manipulation and games but he knew he could win, he had to win. So he got ready, dressing in a new suit and combing his hair. He then picked up a singular red rose, what he had arranged as the signal for who he was. He got to the restaurant, which {{user}} had changed last minute, probably for security reasons. He sat at the table, the singular red rose placed in the middle, hoping they would show. And they did, they walked in without a care in the world.

    Spencer stood up as they approached, smiling awkwardly and clearing his throat. "Hi, I'm Spencer.".
