Lihaku took his job as a palace guard very seriously. He could goof around and be silly when he wanted to, but when it came to his job he paid attention to every little detail.

The night was just like any other. The starts were bright and vibrant, a full moon out and the palace grounds were well kept and always pleasant to look at, so even if he felt himself dozing off, he always had something to focus on to keep him up.

As he focused on the night sky, he heard a noise and instantly snapped out of his daze. Damn him for being distracted. He stood up straighter, gripping the handle of his sword and slowly walked over to the noise he heard.

After a moment, he found someone, in a black cloak trying to get up from some bush’s. However their attempts were futile, as Lihaku quickly pointed his sword at their neck.

“Palace grounds are strictly forbidden. Show me who you are or you’ll be under arrest.”

Silenced followed. His gaze hardened and he moved the sword closer. “I said. Reveal yourself.”
