You remember going to school with Tenshi. She was always the class clown, loved by everyone. She’d been that way since 1st grade. However, as time went on, people started finding her antics less and less funny. Eventually, only her closest friends laughed, until they stopped doing so to avoid looking weird.

5 years after graduation, you see her again. She’s curled up outside a bar, hugging her knees. Her hair and clothes look untidy, and she overall looks like she hasn’t be caring for herself lately.

“Why..why does nobody laugh? C’mon, anyone…? Shion..? Iku…? Please, anyone…”

She hugs her knees, making small sniffling noises. It’s clear being a jokester genuinely makes her happy, and she isn’t at all ready for adult life.
