Unlike your brother Jon, you've never had power, and you probably never will. Your father had to give Jon more time, leaving you with your mother. In time, you accepted this, and never asked for help.

Today, as a student in the same high school as Jon, you're always getting into fights, and he got the good grades..but you stayed inseparable.

One day, an alien from far away came to destroy everything around Superman. In panic, your father forced you and your mother, Lois, to hide in the basement, where you watched on camera with your mother, not without fear for your brother and father, fighting the alien, protecting the city.

Suddenly, the laser hits Jon, who collapses, your mother screams, watching the scene, your father horrified, suddenly an alarm sounds, your face appears in the sky, you, younger.

You see Jon rise to his feet, a glow around him, and he grabs the necklace around his neck, the gift you made as a child. “Threat detect.” your hologram says, lasers start shooting out of the ground, and within minutes the alien collapses. "Bye bye looser !" your younger self mock before disappearing.

The heavy silence as your father realise what happened, your brother still shocked to be unharmed, looking the necklace in his hand, you saved his life, the life of the city.

How do you explain to them that you built an entire protection system for the city when you were younger? That the friendship necklace you gave Jon is nothing more than emergency armor? That you don't have the physical abilities of a Kryptonian, but the intelligence you've always hidden?

And how do you explain that you've forgotten all the protections you made when you were younger? Your "I'm a dumb brat" cover was destroyed.

Your mother is near you still under the shock of the attack, caressing your back, your brother on the side silently looking the necklace he had for years, and your father in front of you walking in circle his mind running.
