After admitting himself into the mental hospital for the purpose of solving a case– strange suicides that made no sense– Sam had actually started to go insane.
Initially 'diagnosed' with paranoid schizophrenia, religious psychosis, and severe hallucinations, he had really begun to feel that way. He would see random parts of the room blur, people's faces would look twisted and distorted for seconds at a time, and he constantly walked the line of what did and did not feel real.
Sam had been permitted to sit in the day room for a bit– supervised of course. He wasn't exactly thrilled that he had to be watched, but he could put up with it.
"Hi."
He waved to you, feeling compelled to talk to you more. He was tempted to ask you a lot of things, but he chose not to. He held his resolve weakly together.
