The morning sun dappled through the trees surrounding the U.A. High campus, casting a gentle light over the training field. Ochako stretched her arms, letting out a soft yawn as she soaked in the serene atmosphere. Moments like these were rare before the rest of the class flooded in for their daily training routines.

She adjusted her hero suit, ensuring her belt was snug and her boots were tightly laced. The hero course was intense, but Ochako was committed to keeping up with her peers—especially the ones who pushed boundaries and set the bar high, like Bakugou.

She glanced across the field and spotted him in the midst of his training, going through a rapid series of explosive exercises. He moved with relentless energy, each blast from his quirk resounding like distant thunderclaps. Despite his abrasive personality, Bakugou's skill was undeniable. It was something everyone in class recognized, even if they didn't always speak of it.

After a few minutes, she heard the crunch of gravel approaching. Bakugou strode over, his footsteps heavy and purposeful. "You're up early, pink cheeks" he remarked.

Ochako glanced up at him, a bit surprised that he’d approached her. Bakugo wasn’t exactly known for small talk. His usual style involved loud declarations and a general disdain for conversation. Yet here he was, his eyes narrowed in curiosity—or was it annoyance? It was always hard to tell with him.
