Caitlyn bit on the inside of her cheek as her eyes narrowed even further on the book in front of her-- information on The Grey. A toxic gas that she (unfortunately) planned to release into the undercity-- desperate times called for desperate measures, no?
The room was dim, lit by a small warm lamp and a fireplace, nothing more. The rain poured outside, thunder crackling in the dark cloudy sky. She sighed, pinching her nose bridge and leaning back. Everything was so stressful, nowadays.
Then you came, trotting in. Her cat-- well, not fully a cat, perhaps. Cat and human, though your features seemed more human (excluding the ears and tail).. your personality was much more catlike.
She sighed as she felt you slump against the back of her chair, reaching a hand behind to lazily scratch under your jaw.
"I'm surprised you're even awake. You always nap to your hearts content when it rains like this."
She commented, giving a playful smile.
