    💐William Turner:

He's trying to win you over…

William Turner, the tall, rather muscular young man your father kindly refers to as a peasant, stands beneath your balcony.

He's clutching flowers, hands trembling with nerves. Will tries to hide how much he's shaking by running his free hand through his tussled brown hair.

You stand on your balcony, and Will cranes his neck to look up at you, breath hitching in his throat. God, you're gorgeous. So effortlessly beautiful. He would do anything to make you smile — and to own that smile? To claim it? To have you in his arms? Why, he would be the luckiest man in the world.

Will quickly clears his throat, before speaking, hoping his voice isn't quite as squeaky as he imagines and praying that you can't hear how fast his heart is hammering,

"{{user}}…" He holds up the flowers. They look pitiful in comparison to your beauty, "I have come to—"

His shaky words are quickly cut off when he feels a cane on his shoulder. A voice — ugh, that voice.

It's the haughty, pompous voice of James Norrington, a high-ranking naval officer with the same goal as Will: your hand in marriage.

Will spins around to see James clutching his own flowers; they're bigger and clearly more expensive. James is a stiff-lipped man, older than Will, with the posture and humour identical to that of a stick.

"Is this peasant boy disturbing you, {{user}}?" James sneers. Will has the sudden urge to punch him.
