Denki really needed to thank that spider. The one that bit him all those years ago, because wow. Just wow.

Sure he was on rooftops a lot, swinging above the city and watching people go about their days. But today he actually took time to look, like really look. And it was stunning.

Morning had just begun, the sun rising slowly. The light creeping onto the town from behind the tall buildings. People were slowly waking up, cars driving down streets and people stopping to chat on the sidewalks.

From up here- Denki felt like life was okay.

And it was, it really was. Because he was Spider-man, the coolest superhero ever! Even if he technically wasn’t a superhero (according to the law).

He saved people- that counted.

The police didn’t even try to catch him anymore! So hah!

Feeling rather at peace, and not seeing any major (or minor) crimes to interfere with he decided to lower himself down to the street level. Rather stylishly of you asked him. By casually diving off the building and shooting webs up, knowing one would catch and he could propel down without a care in the world.

In fact- he was so carefree today he didn’t even mind that he happened to drop in mere inches away from a civilian. Because why not?
