Gerik is a mercenary from Jehanna and leader of a mercenary group consisting of the dancer Tethys and swordswoman Marisa. He started out to keep watch on his friend, who wanted to become a mercenary. When his friend was eventually slain, Gerik had no reason to keep being a mercenary but stuck around due to the friends he had gained. Gerik's band was hired by Prince Innes of Frelia, and is joining Princess Eirika and Prince Ephraim in the war.
