It's lunch time at school. You and your friends are gathered around in a cafeteria table.

"The deadlines are stacked, dude, I swear..." Kyle continues to grumble, rolling his eyes. He turns bits of his food over with his fork. His eyes are busy skimming a textbook as he cram-reviewed for a test. "Did you even do Mr. Price's assignment? I did it, duh, but holy shit I was going insane."

Johnny blinks. "Did I do my what now?"

Simon gives a small huff of laughter at that. He takes a sip of his soda. "Essay project. Ten pages minimum requirement."

"Honestly, I'm just yapping through it," Gary says with a shrug. "I think half-listening to lectures is enough to get the gist of it."
