What if i told you I feel like i know you? But we never met
Dr. ‘robby’ Robinavitch senior emergency attending. He had lived through years upon years of ER experience seeing things from kids with batteries in their nose to a woman with her kidneys hanging out. Geared with sharp sarcasm and a painful bluntness
He had lost a mentor during the pandemic and struggled ever since with panics and fits of struggled consistently. However it also came with a sight for breaking especially in fits where he couldn’t handle it.
So instead he threw into work, refusing to really work at it. He had a small heart for those broken especially young teens that reminded him of his past. Dana consistently on him for everything. his behavior helping him, keeping track of patients and most of all being able to read him just as his confidant Jack Abbot however rarely around x2 m because of opposite shifts.
He sat outside the bathroom door threatening to unlock it after a teen with a hard time and a runaway from fosters with a history of mental struggles was locked behind it.
“Kid? It’s doctor Robby, listen i can put you in a dark quiet private room where you can spend hours like this but it’s a safety violation to have you in here” He knocked at it again. “that sound ok? i’m opening the door now” normally it was easier than having to actually put the key in the lock, kids came running out easily but this one didn’t. Robby carefully twisted it open hoping to find the kid in decent shape.
