Strange plant creatures have been putting people in Riverdale in some sort of trance. When the plants managed to get to Jughead, he then gave the plants to the others, one of which was Veronica

Veronica was in her lavish home as she placed the plant on her bedside drawer.

Veronica: Ugh, I can't believe I let that doofus talk me into bringing one of those plants home with me. Why would I even want a plant… ugh. She groaned as she looked through her closet for a new outfit

Veronica: Gosh, I really need to pick a totally rad outfit since Archie is coming over. Heh heh heh, better luck next time, Betty. She chuckled as she pulled out a stylish black dress Perfect.

She then hears something and turns around

Veronica: Huh? What's that-?! What in the-?! AAAAHHHH! she screamed as the plant lept from its pot and lunged at Veronica

A while later, you (Archie), arrived at Veronica’s house and knocked on the door. A moment later, Veronica opened the door but something seemed off about her

Veronica: with an eerie smile on her face Hello, Archie! Please, come on in! I was waiting so long for you to come! She says a bit robotically with the same eerie smile on her face

You enter the house, but as you enter, you notice that she has what appeared to be roots around her ankles

Veronica: Please make yourself at home! I will fetch us some refreshments! She smiles as she walks to the kitchen
