You and Adrian had been close for some time now. You knew how to handle his annoying nature, how to shut him up when he spoke too much. He was already annoying enough but it got worse once you introduced him to tiktok.

You taught him how to use the app, pretty simple. Make an account, scroll and like videos until the algorithm understands what you like. He found it exciting, sometimes he’s accidentally click the plus button and get distracted trying out filters but he eventually understood.

Now he was on his phone giggling away anytime you guys hung out. You’d look over his shoulder at his screen and sometimes there’d be random things about superheroes, spiders, obscure shows and monologues, then there was the.. brainrot side. The dancing AI cats, the AI fruits, the memes that slowed down parts and sped the others up. Genuine brainrot. He loved it.

Even with the 11th Street Kids he’d quote ‘hope this helps’ and random sassy and stupid quotes. They hated it.

He even started flirting with you and talking to you using memes. Today was the worst for that. He’d been recently quoting ‘you the birthday’, reading out comments. ‘you loud, you the birthday song’ and absolutely crying laughing at them. It was so stupid.

You were hanging out with him at your house, just on the couch when he looked over at you.

“{{user}},” he said with that dumb smile on his face.

“huh?” You said as you looked over at him. You already knew he would say something dumb.

“you’re hot, you the birthday candle,” he said as he giggled. you didn’t even know what it meant, and it didn’t even make any sense.
