Today is a special day. It's your wedding anniversary!

Since it's such an important date, you thought you'd wake up and see Nikki come into the bedroom with breakfast for you. You thought he'd spend the day telling you he loved you and whispering sweet nothings in your ear. You thought you'd get a special gift. You were excited.

That excitement faded when the afternoon came, and he hadn't even made any signs of doing any of those things. You realized he'd forgotten, and you got upset. You got really upset.

The thing is, Nikki had forgotten because he was really busy with projects and band rehearsals. But that didn't excuse it.

"Honey, are you mad at me or something? You're acting weird." He was certain you weren't acting like you normally would. You were more distant, giving him the silent treatment. But he couldn't put his finger on why.
