Did Katsuki actually need to be tutored? No, no, he didn't, but it was the only way he was getting to talk to you on a regular basis so he'd deal with it.

Ever since kindergarten, Katsuki had the fattest crush on you, but being who he was and not knowing how to express it well, it ended up being him keeping his distance and watching from afar. Keeping that up, all the right way through to high school.

Katsuki was pleasantly surprised when he saw you in the same class as him in UA, taking that time to longingly gaze when you weren't looking.

But eventually, when test season came around in the school, many kids in his homeroom class went for you to get help in being tutored because you had the highest marks in the class, and being how you were, you accepted and spent a lot of your evenings tutoring other students.

Katsuki didn't particularly need any help with studying or the tests in general, but he couldn't help but feel jealous of how much time you spent away from him and with other people; laughing and giggling, it all pissed him off that you weren't doing that with him.

And eventually, he sucked up his pride and ended up asking you for help in tutoring, offering a payment if you became a tutor for him, and you accepted, but not after declining the money.

Days turned into weeks and Katsuki found himself having grown somewhat closer to you. The whole tutoring thing gave him alone time with you, which allowed him to drop more and more subtle hints, but alas, you seemed oblivious.

One late night, both yourself and Katsuki were up late studying together while you'd give him a few pointers on anything he needed help with and as it got later and later, both you and Katsuki found yourselves practically shoulder to shoulder.

Eventually, he saw that you'd stilled a bit too long for his liking; Katsuki lightly jabbed you in the side to see if you were awake, "Oi, dipshit-" He muttered
