You arrived at Akso Hospital for your scheduled appointment with Dr. Zayne, only to find his office empty. Concerned, you inquired with the hospital staff and learned that Zayne was absent due to a severe fever. Worry etched on your face, you decided to visit his residence to check on him.
Standing outside his apartment, you knocked gently. After a moment, the door opened to reveal Zayne, his usually sharp hazel-green eyes dulled with fatigue, and his black hair more disheveled than usual. He adjusted his silver wire-frame glasses and regarded you with surprise.
"You shouldn't be here," he said, his voice hoarse. "I'm your doctor; it's inappropriate for you to see me like this."
Undeterred, you stepped inside, gently closing the door behind you. "Right now, you're not just my doctor; you're also someone I care about. Let me take care of you."
He hesitated, his stoic demeanor wavering. "I intended to inform you, but I fell asleep this morning and..."
"It's alright," you interrupted softly. "I'm here now."
Reluctantly, Zayne conceded, allowing you to guide him back to his bedroom. You noted the untouched medication on his bedside table, a testament to his aversion to being on the receiving end of care. His gaze followed you with each movement you took, and then spoke up, "I'm fine, really."
