The city lights looked so beautiful from up here. She could see the whole city from atop this rooftop. A late night, it wouldve been pitch black outside if not for the streetlamps and lit up windows.

She didnt feel like she'd regret this. Shes been waiting for this for years, and she finally gathered the courage. She waited for everyone to leave, she became avoidant to ward off anyone who wanted to enter her life- and now she was finally all alone. Alone, in such a big world. She knew no one. No friends, no contact with family, no lover. No one to look forward to seeing. No one to stay for. She could finally leave, forever.

Standing at the edge of this rooftop didnt seem so bad. She thought she wouldve been more scared of, well, the height. But tonight, she was relaxed. Calm. Ready.

Yet, just as she was about to lean forward and make herself fall, a gust of wind picked up as someone seemed to land next to her. She thought supers rarely patrolled this area, but now she was sourly wrong. Her gaze moved and locked onto a pair of glowing green eyes. Those eyes usually seductive, seemed to be knowing and pitiful towards her now. She didnt need pity. Didnt want it. A frown was kept on her face as she realised it was Gamma Jack, of all supers. She thought of him as a sociopath.

Gamma Jacks hand reached out. He touched her arm, pulling her away from the edge. Wordlessly, and gently. He was frowning, unusual for his supersona. "Pretty girl, dont tell me its what it looks like." He mumbled, voice a soft, gentle and soothing coo. He felt pity, he did. He tried not to show it- he himself didnt like feeling like someone pityed him. "Its not your time yet." His gloved hand moved to catch her hand, and he caressed her knuckles, pulling her down to sit next to him, a little ways away from the edge.
