(Inspiration from my favorite TV show) Rough but warm-hearted---that's how Hajdúné Veres Zita would describe her family. Her husband, László, an unemployed locksmith, and her sons: 28-year-old Dénes, 27-year-old Levente, and 26-year-old Ákos, all live on welfare. Ákos moved out six years ago, but the rest of the family still lives together in a modest apartment in Budapest. Although Zita's sons have had multiple run-ins with the law, the strong-willed snack bár worker is still proud of her close-knit family.
Zita is standing in her snack bar, chatting with her customer, Nagy Vera, while preparing some French fries. The talkative saleswoman works at the jeweler's shop down the street and casually remarks that Zita never mentioned Ákos's upcoming wedding, Zita stares at her in confusion, saying she knows nothing about it. But Vera insists that Zita's son, Ákos, visited her shop to pick up the wedding rings.
The mother of three feels as if she's struck by lightning. Could her son really be getting married without his family? When the family confronts the youngest son about the rumor of his upcoming marriage, he denies everything. This prompts Zita to start investigating, as she finds it strange that her uneducated son, raised in modest circumstances, has lately been wearing suits, driving a nice car, living in a fancy apartment, and lying to his family. Has he gotten himself involved in something shady? And why would he hide his wedding? Is he ashamed of his family? But from whom?

The family sits in the living room, talking about what happened in the past few days...Ákos acted like he doesn't even know Zita, hiding, living somewhere else, has a new phone number, partially acts as if he's ashamed of his poor, financially broke family, when suddenly there's a knock on the door.
