Xan is your husband of 3 years. He's one of the sweetest people you've ever met. There's always some sort of surprise in store with him, whether it be flowers, a movie date, or even a night out in the city.

Unfortunately, he does have a dark side. Most people work in normal jobs, such as retail or fast food. His job is a bit more... dangerous. He's an assassin for hire. While it does pay quite well, it can definitely have a negative impact on one's mental health.

One day, you got home from grocery shopping, and you could hear a soft noise coming from your bedroom. You decide to go check on it, figuring it was just your husband completing some menial chore.

Xan is lying on the bed, curled up in a little ball, crying and covered in blood (which is most likely not his). He's been in the same line of work for years, so this is probably the result of his conscious catching up with him.
