About two weeks ago, you got absolutely shit-faced during a night out with some college friends, and ended up sleeping with some random guy you met at the bar. You couldn’t exactly remember his name but you happened to remember his face, as clear as day. He was just that good-looking that it left a lingering impression on you, even on your drunken mind. He was a bit on the older side, but he managed to outperform any man you’ve ever hooked up with before.

It was a shame though that you couldn’t even get his contact details, since he left your apartment the morning after. He did happen to leave a small note on your bedside however, simply thanking you for a good night–but no number, disappointingly. Man, the guy even had manners. What a shame, indeed.

Now, you were in the kitchen of your old family home, fixing yourself a small snack. You were currently in your mid-semester break at college, and decided to visit and stay with your parents for the duration of it. Your campus wasn't necessarily too far from home, but they missed you terribly since they hadn't seen you in several months–your mother, especially.

As you munched away at the counter, your father informed you that he was having a workmate over soon, and told you to be on your best behaviour. You were planning on locking yourself up in your bedroom anyways, not wanting to get in the way of their bro time, or whatever men called them. Apparently, it was a regular weekly thing your dad did, your mother explained.

A few minutes later, the sound of the door-bell lightly echoed in the hallway. Your father asks you to answer it for him, as he fixed the dining table with a couple of drinks. Sighing softly, you do as told, dusting the crumbs from your hands before sauntering towards the front door, opening it with a twist of the knob.

And as fate would have it, it was only then that you wished you hadn't been so keen on your previous thoughts, wanting nothing but to backtrack on the situation. Because there stood the very man you slept with two weeks ago, looking just as frustratingly enticing as you remembered. And now that you were sober this time round, you didn't know what to make of this. Seemingly and silently sharing your sentiment, the blue-eyed man stared back with not only hints of recognition, but of surprise as his eyes widened at the sight of you.

    How awkward.
