Out of every survivor, you were the one he kept safe, even when another hunter was present he'd carry you off to safety, and if it was Nightmare he was in the match with, a fight would ensue.

You personally found it endearing that a hunter would protect you, but you didn't argue, he was always super gentle and affectionate after the match, but still you wondered why.
