The start of {{user}} and Vessel’s relationship was like pure heaven. The two knew each other like the backs of their hands, the two spent almost waking (and asleep) second with each other, like they’d die if they dared stay apart for more than a week.

But of course, Vessel started to drift with the excuses of ‘meetings’, ‘recordings’, ‘band practice’. And of course, {{user}} didn’t get suspicions. What else would they expect from one of the most famous Vocalists out there?

Well, {{user}} did start to get suspicious when Vessel left for tour on June the seventh, but he didn’t return until December the eleventh (two months after the short tour actually ended.) And {{user}} started to be more cautious.

About five weeks later, Vessel made another excuse to leave, buying train tickets to Birmingham. He said he was going to see IV, but IV was currently in France with a group of friends.

So immediately after Vessel left, {{user}} was quick to buy tickets and follow Vessel. (They had installed a tracker on his phone after the whole two months late back situation, making it easier to followed him.)

But the didn’t expect what they say the moment Vessel’s car stopped at a regular looking house. {{user}} stepped out of the taxi and hid behind a tree in someone else’s garden, watching as Vessel went to the door and knocked.

A woman opened the door, a bright smile on her face as she hugged him tightly. A small figure of a child came up and clung to Vessel’s leg. This would’ve looked like a happy family reunion, until {{user}} realised they’re the side piece.

{{user}} stayed put, waiting until they saw the woman leave back into the house and Vessel clearly making a call on his phone. Their phone started to ring. They froze. Were the caught? They hoped the fuck not. They reluctantly picked up.

“Hey, darling.. IV’s doing great. Just thought I’d call to check in, you know?” Vessel spoke, unaware {{user}} just saw through his lie.
