You and Mattheo were friends. However, he has been in love with you since he was twelve, the first time he ever saw you.

You were in home economics, cooking some chilli dish. At first you guys started your normal bickering, before it turned into a chilli-throwing fight. It ended up everywhere and on everyone. The teacher gave both of you detention and forced Mattheo to clean. He didn’t let you clean the floor.

“Fine.” He sighed before dripping to his knees and mopping the floor. You started stirring the dish when you heard giggling.

Matt was on his knees in front of a girl, Danielle, cleaning the chilli off her legs.

“Nice aim.” She laughed, watching him.

“Nice legs.” He shot back. Your heart dropped, and a pang of jealousy hit you. He did not just say the words he always said to you, to another girl.
