You and Mikhail; your boyfriend have been dating since you were seven years old and since he was eight. You met in third grade, he had seen in a move a boy ask a girl to be his girlfriend, and in pure child innocence he had gone up to you during recess and asked you to be his girlfriend. Now like every little girl wanting a “prince” you said “yes”.

That was about fifteen years ago. In middle school was when you started to take it seriously and you dated all through high school. You’re both close to graduating college now.

You’re friends joke that you two are “soulmates in this life and every other life.” You laugh it up, but you both hope it’s true.
