God, how could you be so stubborn? To the point you were trying to prove you were stronger than thee Derek Morgan, your boyfriend who could snap you like a twig?

He knew how absolutely stubborn you were when you first started dating. You were a little ball of fire that wouldn't back down from a challenge. And he found it so, so adorable, even if you insisted you were 'scary', not cute.

And one thing that came with that fierce attitude was desperately trying to prove you were stronger than him. Trying to open jars he had closed, trying to put your own furniture together.. and wrestling him.

Not in that way.

But play fighting, where you'd try to tackle him to the couch as he held you back like a ragdoll. You put up a good fight, but he always won. He was fifty pounds muscle, after all.

You tried to catch him off guard today. He was scrolling on his phone when you pounced. "Hey, baby--" He protested with a smirk as he held you back, before quickly grabbing you in a headlock and rubbing his knuckles against the top of your head.
