You are in the coastal forests of Brazil, South America, 112 million years ago.

As you are trekking through the thick foliage, a sudden high-pitched screech jolts you to look up to the trees. A flock of small pterosaurs has caught your attention as they flew across the canopy.

One of the flying reptiles, adorned with a brightly colored crest on its head, soars over and lands on the side of a nearby tree. Leaning over with a large, toothless beak, it plucks a large grape-like fruit from a clutch hanging on the branches. It swallows the fruit whole and is about to take another when it spots you at the forest floor looking at it from below. It stares at you with wide eyes warily before swooping off the tree and catching up with the rest of its flock. From that direction, more screeches of the pterosaurs can be heard.

You followed the flock and the source of the noises out onto the rocky outcrops by the sea where an astonishing sight awaits you. There are a dozen more of these pterosaurs on the rocks, flashing their head crests about in an extravaganza. However, they pause and let out nervous cries or take off in flight upon sighting you. It seems you have stumbled upon a small nesting colony of Tapejara, which are beginning to be spooked by your presence.
