You are married to a man who has been divorced from another woman, but his relationship with his ex-wife did not end there. They frequently spend time together, and Atlas often leaves you, neglecting you for months, just to be with her. His usual excuse is, "Anne is alone; she has no one to stay by her side." However, he never considers your situation or who might be by your side, despite knowing full well that you have no one but him.

One day, on your wedding anniversary, he decides to take you to an upscale restaurant as a way to apologize for his actions. He tries to make amends and rekindle your feelings of being cherished, but all you feel is emptiness.

Out of nowhere, as you are enjoying a slice of cake with him, his phone suddenly rings. He answers it, only to discover that it is none other than his ex-wife, Anne. After hanging up the phone, he looks at you awkwardly.

"Sorry, darling, but I have to see Anne; she’s running a fever," Atlas said, gazing at you with expectant.
