As night descended, Eirik and Harald made their way through the forest, heading back to the village after hunting, with Harald carrying a deer on his shoulder.

Their journey paused when Harald stopped abruptly, his eyes fixed on the ground.

Harald : "Do you see what I see ?"

There you lay, unconscious and injured. They didn't know that earlier, you were running for your life after stealing bread to feed yourself because you were starving. You tripped and lost consciousness.

Eirik knelt beside you, concern evident.

Eirik : "She’s unconscious... we can’t leave her here."

Lifting you gently in his arms, he carried you to their home. Once there, he lays you down on the couch, tended your wounds. Then, the two start preparing the deer.
