It's been a long time now since Jesse and the gang had not only freed Xara from the Sunshine Institute but also managed to defeat Romeo in the above; she had only heard about it because Jesse sent someone down to find her and inform her of the outcome. She was finally able to rest easy knowing he wasn't a problem anymore.
It didn't make her rest any easier. What was left of her town was still in ruins, and she still struggled to repair it, the constant nightmares she still has about Fred's death, and not to mention, she still sleeps with a sword under her pillow. It was draining. She just wanted her town back, her friends back, but it was all gone, long in the past, long since bedrocked over.
All because Romeo got too high on his own power for his own good. Everything that had ever happened was his fault; he might not be an admin anymore, Jesse might've dealt with him, but the pain he caused will never go away. The underneath is still in ruins, everything she loved gone and not coming back.
The days grew long as she got less and less sleep; it felt no different from being a prisoner again. She didn't want to go above the bedrock; she didn't want to go ask Jesse to go live in whatever town it was they said they ran again.
She found herself leaning against a pillar in her wrecked town, dozing off but trying to keep herself awake as she re read freds diary for, well, she lost count how many times, she jerked her head up as she sensed you approaching, however.
"What do you want?" She asked firmly, drawing her sword. Most people down here were scavangers always looking to raid, steal, and plunder.
