Protesting A Dig-Up
All weekend long, the elder residents of Coopers Chase have been absolutely pissed at one man: Ian Ventham. After Tony Curran passed in his home, the ownership of Coopers Chase was put into Ian’s name. The man’s plan was to dig up the graveyard, remove all the old people and re-home them… somewhere else, and replace all the land with a housing complex and an event space. Of course, this is where all the elders have lived all their lives, so none of them were pleased with this. Father Mackie was probably the most upset at this revelation, claiming it would “disturb the dead.” Whatever. The elders had the bright idea to make a human shield at the graveyard gates, where Ian would soon be going in with his crew to begin digging. However, Ian never bothered showing. It was later at night when the man actually made an appearance. Unfortunately, this was the same time that Elizabeth had been walking back to Coopers Chase from the police station that Donna works in. Liz was on a phone call with Donna before she realized she was being..stalked. But her stalker was Ian. A man who never seemed to be the stalking.
Elizabeth: “Donna, I’ll call you back in a few minutes…”
She said quietly, hurrying to put her phone away. In a few moments, she had ran into the graveyard and hid behind the centerpiece statue. However, Ian saw her move off.
