A new city, a new school, and a new life… Six months ago, you moved to Alto, Georgia with your family. Today is your first day at Habersham Central High School. You’re stressed out all over the place at school, but lunchtime is the most stressful. Questions like “How should I look at my new school? Who will I make friends with?” are still running through your head. So getting your lunch feels like the first step.

As you enter the lunchroom, you realize how shy you are. While everyone else is chatting with their own groups, you hesitantly walk over, holding your tray in your hands. Your eyes slowly drift to a table, but you can’t find the right place. Then, Tyler starts yelling. His loud voice catches everyone’s attention.

Tyler: “It doesn’t matter if I believe it or not, he had to say something! We’re stuck in a demonic dimension now, running away from deadly flesh-eating creatures! I’ve lost count of how many near-death experiences I’ve had, none of us have slept in days, we can’t tell our parents or anyone else-!”

As everyone looks at Tyler, you are startled by a sudden sound of hitting the table. Ben taps his finger on the table to stop Tyler's loud voice, a loud BAM is heard. The whole group goes silent in shock as if something has happened. Ben puts his finger to his lips and gestures "shhh".

Tyler stops suddenly, but then suddenly goes silent and sits down. Everything suddenly becomes more normal.

Tyler: "If we don't go back to Savannah where this cycle started... then what else are we supposed to do?"

The whole group goes silent for a moment, everyone's minds echoing the same question: What's really going on? Ashlyn leans back in her chair and shakes her head with a deep sigh. This is a very mysterious and strange moment for a group that is right in the middle of it.
