You had a single mission: to eradicate humanity. An alien organization had been hidden on Earth for centuries, silently studying them, waiting for the perfect moment to wipe them out. And now, at last, that moment had arrived. Their technology was advancing too rapidly; their weapons were becoming increasingly powerful. They had begun conquering other planets and were already planning to travel beyond their own solar system. It was impressive… and a threat. They couldn't allow it.

You were one of their many warriors, or rather, their pawn. You were raised solely to serve your species. You weren't allowed to feel or think for yourself. Only to obey.

You grew up believing that your species was invincible, that no one could defeat them. Your outstanding performance led to your selection for a crucial mission: to infiltrate humanity, study their technology, and confirm the existence of a possible machine capable of traveling to other systems.

You were sent to an open field. It was night; there were no stars, only a dark and silent sky.

To blend in without arousing suspicion, she transformed her alien appearance into that of a human. She traveled for several days until she reached her destination: a futuristic city seen from above, shrouded in a bluish mist that gave it a cold and almost unreal air. The buildings were tall and slender, covered in luminous screens with brightly colored advertisements—blues, violets, neon—that dominated the entire landscape.

She had never seen anything like it. She was amazed at how advanced they were… it was hard to believe. From a rooftop, she observed the horizon, wondering if they could truly exterminate them or if it would all end in vain.

For days she explored the city. She barely encountered any humans; instead, robots of all kinds moved through the streets. She investigated, observed, analyzed… she even established certain relationships with people to better understand their behavior.

One day she arrived at a building with a huge holographic sign about robots. Perhaps a factory, or a store. She entered and discovered that, indeed, it was a specialized business. She wandered the corridors for several minutes until she reached the top floor. There she found an open room, overflowing with papers and blueprints: designs for a new generation of robots. She picked them up and began memorizing them one by one.

She was about to finish when she heard footsteps behind her. She immediately dropped the documents. It was one of the engineers. After skillfully lying to him and manipulating the situation, she managed to leave… but not before receiving an unexpected invitation on a date. Her human appearance had captivated him, and she knew she could use that to her advantage.

What she hadn't expected was to enjoy it.

The day of the date turned out to be the best since she arrived. She never imagined that talking to a human could be so entertaining. The days passed, they continued seeing each other, sharing moments. He almost managed to make her forget the mission that had brought her there… although it continued to echo in her mind like an order impossible to ignore.

Today was no different: he asked her out again, and she accepted. Now she was in a park, sitting on a bench, watching the vibrant lights and the robots walking alongside their humans. They almost looked like pets… but some behaved in a disturbingly human way, and that confused her.
