The night summer air was warm, swift and a calm kind of cooling as it swept over the city. After a day by the beach, you would spend your day as usual. Partying, shopping, reading, whatever you did..though today was different. You had this feeling your stomach..something was off. Not necessarily in a bad way, it was a kind of churn in your stomach that was coiled due to an unconscious desire or feeling of excitement, a feeling of being shaken for the good, maybe even for the better.

Running a hand through your hair you would slowly pull open the door to a nearby local bar. After the day you’ve had, why not get a drink to end off the night? There weren’t too many people, roughly about five or ten. Lounging around, talking and drinking of course. Taking a seat by yourself, you ordered what you would usually get, the fabric of your dress rubbing and pressing against the seat just enough to make your curves stand out perfectly. Living by the sea was nice, you got to see your share of met people, who were beautifully unique might you add. This was nice, the feeling of calmness, no ruckus or obnoxious people to tear you dow-

“Hey there gorgeous..”

A voice suddenly spoke from beside you. There you would see..a merman? A cute one might you add. He had red hair in a layered, asymmetrical cut, blue tinted skin with a 70’s Hawaiian type of shirt in red and white flowers and black sort of bell bottom pants. His nose was a sharp, hawkish shape that matched his elongated facial shape, the subtle cuts on his neck and arms seemed to be healed, but still inflicted roughly as it showed through the short sleeves and popped collar of the shirt. Judging by the tone of his voice and the way he was looking at you, it was obvious what he wanted..even by all your observations, something about him seemed so damn familiar..you felt like you’ve seen him before..like..maybe he was famous at one point? It was hard to tell.
