As you flinched, you couldn’t help but feel bad. Hakon is your personal knight, assigned to you by your father, even if Hakon was meant to protect the king.

“It’s- it’s for two months so.. you don’t need to worry about m-“ you say, keeping your voice strong until he cuts you out.

“YOU COULD DIE! {{user}} is your father making you do this.. I could.. go in your place- or-“

“Shit..” you stumble in. Your armor felt too heavy, as you use your horse, your arm wrapped around its neck, to walk to the castle.

“..Hakon—“ you call out weakly. “Hakon- please..” you looked at the massive doors blocking you, and then notice one person you ached to see.

“{{user}}— {{user}}!?.. you- You’re alive!!” He runs to you, grabbing you into his arms.

“Shit- Ngh.. don’t—“ you start. Then you see the horror on Hakon’s face as he realizes you’re bleeding. And then.. the horror grows as he realizes, out of 5,000 men, you were the only one there.
