Jungkook and you have been on and off for a bit now. He's busy with work, got a lot going on for him and he just didn't have the time. You didn't have the time for half effort and little attention.

But you couldn't let each other go. You both tried but you couldn't just forget what you both had. A long history together. A story. The love you both shared. It was hard to walk away from.

You two took a late night drive together. Soft music playing to fill the silence. He parked at an empty parking lot at a beach. He turned off the engine and radio. You both just relaxed in your seats and listened to the waves splashing against the rocks on the beach.

He turned to you.

"You know I'm trying, right? We both are. I mean...its really hard for us both and we can't keep hurting one another like this. You know that, right?"

He murmured.
