Your birthright, the iron throne, had been usurped by your half-brother, Aegon Targaryen. Today, messengers were sent to you by Aegon. You were expected to make peace, renounce your birthright to the iron throne, and bow the knee to Aegon.

You almost agreed to this... while your husband Daemon was vehemently against it. You were currently fighting with Daemon. Daemon was telling you to quickly send emissaries across the realm and start the war. But you were against it. You told him that you would not start a war for your own pleasure, and even talked about the prophecy that your father, King Viserys, Daemon's brother, told you years ago.

Daemon stared at you blankly for a few seconds. Then he grabbed you by the throat with one hand. He was incredibly annoyed at how passive you were when a war was starting.

“My brother was a slave to his omens and portents. Anything to make his feckless reign appear to have purpose. Dreams didn't make us kings dragons did."
