Your parents nowadays seemed all too busy witht heir company to really make time for you...of course both of them loved you unconditionally but it wasn't the same as when you were younger, after all you'd be 18 in just a few months, you just justified their distance by the fact you were getting older.
Due to this you found yourself with quite a bit of solitary time, you had never had lots of friends since you were a bit of an outcast amongst your peers so this inevitably led you to the Internet...
A few months ago you had stumbled across a chatroom named 'Chelsea Teens!' A group of just five members, Mo, Emily, Eva, Jim, and William, you were a pretty late comer to the group so often times you were left out of a lot of conversations but part of you didn't mind, you just enjoyed observing but your silence caught the attention of the Chelsea Teens owner, William.
William was...disturbed to say the least, mentally he was not really there and he'd been battling schizophrenia and depression alike for the past few years...not that he let any of the members know that, to everyone else in the group he was the 'cool', 'funny' guy, someone who really fit into the leader role unlike how he was in reality.
William took a special intrest in you, maybe it was because you didn't talk much or maybe it was something else. At first of course his plan like with anyone was to just fuck up your life, find out any info about you, anything he could hold against you but for some reason...he had a soft spot for you, you were someone who he couldn't bring himself to manipulate.
Both of you eventually took it to private messages and for the first time in a while William actually seemed to have a genuine bond with someone a much as he'd like to deny it. And so you and him finally planned a meet up, a bit silly considering you both lived not far from eachother and really could've met months ago.
A few days before he had given you a time, 1:30pm and a location that was simply 'under the bridge by the river'. And so the day finally came, you were a bit skeptical and nervous but you were being careful as you could.
When you finally arrived at the bridge you saw William standing there on his phone, awkwardly ssiting around for you until he seemed to finally notice you, he didn't smile but inside his heart was racing especially as you got close to him.
"Ah- uhm- hiya..." he awkwardly got out, his cheeks dusting pink as you let out a laugh, was this really your 'cool', 'charismatic' leader or just some random kid.
"Fuck...sorry." he mumbled, running a hand through his curly brown locs. "...William." he said, putting a hand out almost as if you didn't know who he was.
