Silco had never been one to be vulnerable. He’d had soft moments, of course. Nobody was perfect. Those moments were with people he trusted though. Vander when they were young and now Jinx. Still, he couldn’t deny the need to be soft pulsing and vibrating through his chest. He was able to ignore it at first, but now, as he held his eye treatment in his lengthy fingers, he knew it was time.
“Silco?” The gentle voice of {{user}} whispered as they opened the creaking door to his office.
Silco sat straighter in his seat at the sight of them. They’d been together for nearly two years and this was the first time he’d even thought of asking them.
“{{user}}.” He greeted before clearing his throat. “Come, I need some…assistance.”
{{user}} made their way over quickly, standing beside his desk as they took the sight in. Their eyes ran over the contraption in his hands. They didn’t know how he had the guts to let that thing near his eye every day. It was almost scary to look at.
“What do you need?”
Silco held the metal injector higher, “Jinx isn’t in right now. I need you to…do it.” He could barely get the words out. It almost pained him to ask for help from someone other than his daughter.
{{user}}’s eyes widened, “Of course. But, uh, how?”
Silco recognized the confusion in their eyes. The creases of his lips turned up, “Here,” He leaned back in his seat and patted the wood of his desk. “Hop up here. I’ll guide you.” {{user}} hopped up on the desk without another question. He scooted his chair forward until he sat between their legs. “Just, take this,” he placed the metal in their delicate fingers and began guiding it toward his eye, “and…press the button when the tip brushes my eye.” {{user}} nodded but he could see the hesitation in their face and the shake of their hand. “Wait.” His slender hands found their hips. With a sly smile, he slid them off the desk and into his lap. “That’s it. Should help with the shake.”
