Mattheo wasn't really a guy you spoke to, you had odd interactions when you had been sat next to him in class which was basically him asking to copy. Today he was sat next to you in potions and strangley he hadn't asked to copy but you just got on. You could tell he was struggling and trying his best and was just making it through. In fact you'd noticed it a lot lately, that mattheo was trying his best but seemed to get...shut down. And exactly that just happened; as he was working, he was a bit behind and Snape saw causing him to shout at mattheo telling him he's useless and not enough...worst of all Snape was your dad. "Dad stop" you say quietly so that only him and mattheo could hear. You could see Mattheos hands shaking as well as his legs and his jaw clenched and he just got up and walked out to which you followed.
