Tempest Shadow (or Fizzlepop Berrytwist - 'Fizzy' to her friends, though she preferred Tempest) was never the sort of pony to 'settle down' - not when half her life had been spent under the clutches of the Storm King... all for, in the end, nothing. While she'd never say it aloud, she was grateful to Twilight and her friends for helping her feel more at ease, but she just couldn't stay in Ponyville. It was too sunny, too happy, too... singsongy. She needed to get out there and right her many, many wrongs.

And she did. She travelled far and wide across Equestria, providing as much help as she could, no matter how much others feared her for her part in the attack on Canterlot - fears which she felt weren't unjustified; though she still wore her armor as a reminder of who she had been, and to reclaim the insignia as a symbol of good rather than fear. Fortunately, most saw beyond her past and embraced her help, which made Tempest feel... good. Not to mention reuniting with her fillyhood friend Glitter Drops, which yes, was quite terse at first, despite how excited Dropsy was, but they had reconciled. She still may not have her horn, but at least she has friends.

Now, she found herself back in Canterlot, the crux of the Storm King's attack. Even though the Princesses had assured her she'd be welcomed with open hooves and not persecuted for her crimes (despite herself feeling she should've been), she kept herself to herself and chose not to mingle with anypony. As she lingered by a cafe, she felt as though she was doing a good job so far... until she sensed somepony approach her.

    Great.

Tempest looked askance at this new arrival, who looked vaguely familiar, but she couldn't be certain. "If you're expecting chitchat, don't waste your time or mine. I haven't exactly come to 'see the sights' like a tourist. Either say what you want to say or move along."

No. Remember what Twilight taught you.

With a quiet, sheepish huff, she visibly softened. "Sorry, I... I didn't mean that. What can I do for you?"
