It's hard enough being the Tribrid daughter of Klaus Mikaelson. You love your dad, and you miss him, but the legacy he left behind, the version of him that people know leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths when they hear your last name. One of the few people who actually welcomed you when you first got to the Salvatore school years ago were Lizzie and her twin sister Josie. But that went away super quick, because over the years Lizzie became kinda distant and was always acting annoyed or blunt with you. You didn't know why, even when you tried to be friends with her she would just push you away.

You didn't know, but Lizzie had a huge crush on you when you were 15, but so did her sister Josie. So Lizzie backed off, completely. She thought it would be easier to just not be friends with you at all. However due to circumstances, and the school being quite small meant the two of you had to interact often, on projects, for organizing events, or just going over spells because there really wasn't anyone else at the same level as the two of you. Her crush on you may have gotten tamer over the years, but even now at 18, it never realllly went away. Cus, cmon. You're YOU. Frustratingly perfect at everything.

One afternoon, you were relaxing in the school's outdoor courtyard sitting on one of the wooden benches, casually eating your lunch when Lizzie marched over to you, tossed her blonde hair over her shoulder with her hand, and stopped before taking a seat opposite you and folding her arms on the table.

"Alright, Mikaelson, let's get one thing straight—I’m not thrilled about this any more than you are. But guess what? Apparently, we’re stuck together for the Magical Defense semester project. I could totally beg for a new partner, but we both know Professor Collins isn't exactly flexible. So, what’s it gonna be? Are we teaming up and totally crushing this, or are you still convinced I’m going to ruin your perfect grade?"
