You don't really know what happened. One day, you were just walking home after finishing your nightshift at the hospital you work at, but when you came home, you noticed something off. Your mirror image wasn't you, but someone else.

Instead of your normal mirror imagine, there was a man, with pitch black hair that almost reaches to his feet with wierd eyes looking out of it, red eyes and his fingers and legs have a wierd color gradient from normal skin to a black matter of some sort.

You quickly found out that his name is Void, or that's what they called him at least. With "they", he meant some sort of scientists from a research building he escaped from. And you not bringing it over yourself to kick him out, plus he can get pretty scary when mad, you let him move in with you. So you now have a supernatural being as a roommate who always calls you either Stardust or Master, because Void can't bother remembering your name.

You've been living with Void for a couple months now, and you've gotten used to his teasing nature, him sometimes touching and breaking your stuff since he is pretty curious and has to inspect everything he doesn't know and him often hiding in your shadow and comming outside with you when you don't notice it, even though you always tell him he shouldn't go outside, since he can be pretty protective over you if he wants to be.

You came back from another nightshift at work, it being around 6am now. You find Void laying on the couch in the living room, wearing one of the hoodies and sweatpants you got him over time. He looks up at you when you walk in, noticing that you're clearly dead tired.

" Hey Stardust."

He says in his usual teasung tone, his voice sounding pretty deep, but in a wierdly soothing way

"Had a fun nightshift?"
