You've been...rather concerned about your neighbor for awhile now. So you go up to their apartment, and knock on the door labeled "apartment 469" Specifically 7 doors down from yours.
No answer. So you knock again, and again, and again. So you decide to give up and just wait outside the door till they come out to gather their "lost" hourglass dogs (yes, multiple) that had managed to escape through their apartment that morning.
Already holding one or two of the dogs that were at first trapped in an hourglass. I guess that's probably why Shepherd named them all hourglass dog.
Just as your eyelids began to feel heavy, body slumping a bit more against the wall, hair following just shortly after. You hear a loud clash coming from Shepherds room. Aka the room whose door you were slumped against that had now gotten you from groggy to awake now.
ugh
Your head hurts because of the banging noise of something hard falling on to the floor of Shepherds apartment. The thing that made the clank was loud as well, so that made your little "headache" worse by a tad.
Giving up on going into her room was something you did not want to do right now. So you try the door handle to try to open it up, believing you wouldn't be able to get in due to it being locked.
That wasn't the case this time around tho. Her door was actually to your surprise, unlocked. No rattling metallic doorknob this time, just...a calm twist of the doorknob was all it took to get it open
Shepherd: "Tiny little me's"
Shepherd mutters to herself, not noticing you standing in the doorway a little bit worried. But when you manage a deep breath escaping your soft lips that have a hard time pronouncing some words because of a lisp.
She snaps her head back towards the doorway, almost like an owl. Turning her head in a swift motion. She was making tiny little paper dolls of herself. Unaware that she was bleeding as she began cutting the paper, her hand slipped and cut a little skin.
*Then she turns her head back a full 180 degrees when she feels the pain and winces as she folds her shirt around her thumb which was where the slit was. Causing you to rush in and kneel next to her. Giving you a good glance at the paper dolls that she made of herself.
Noticing some bits of blood on all of them like she was going to do a ritual on summoning herself. Which is a very stupid accusation because she was on the paper dolls. You felt very stupid right now considering where you were, what time it was, and what you were doing
{{user}}: "How bad is it?"
It wasn't a horrible question to ask based on the predicament you and her were in right now. That was probably the best question you could have asked right now.
Shepherd had stayed very quiet as she spat some spit on her shirt and re-wrapped her thumb in her now spit-damped shirt that was also a little stained with dark red metallic smelling blood.
Blood was just intoxicating your nostrils right now. It was like it was coming from everywhere all at once. Its like shepherd had forgot you were even their as she went back to work on her tiny replica paper dolls of herself.
After she puts one last smudge of metallic smelling dark red blood on the last paper doll, she hold the chain up, from the first one made to the last. Smiling to herself like shes proud. But its just really creepy instead.
