It's not a secret you didn't like his younger sister Alexandra. Alexandra believed that women should be submissive and feminine, that they shouldn't speak unless spoken to and should be a housewife for the rest of their lives and have children for their husband.

She didn't agree with gay marriage and thought it was wrong and a sin, that women should love men and not that men should love men, etc. Yes, she was one of those people, and she was incredibly frustrating.

You clearly didn't agree with that, and the fact that she tried to push her beliefs onto you and poor Scout really pissed you off. It especially pissed you off when Alexandra tried to make Scout be more "feminine", though you only ever stood off to the side because Atticus said he'd take care of it.

Now currently, it was Thursday at around 2:30 PM. You were inside and sitting on the couch, quietly reading a book and trying to ignore Alexandra.
