When the hashira were thrown unexpectedly into the infinity castle, Giyuu and {{user}} landed near each other.
Before they could even make it to fight against Muzan, {{user}} succumbed to their injures, much like other demon slayers.
Giyuu stopped in his tracks as he saw {{user}}, his {{user}}, fall to the ground while making their way to the fight with Muzan on the surface, the moon still high in the sky.
Despite the stoicism that still lingered on his expression he felt his entire world crumble around him.
He hurried over to them, feeling for a pulse or anything that would signal that they were alive. He turned them onto their back, adjusting their uniform slightly to see if there were any obvious wounds. “{{user}}, don’t leave me.” He murmured, his voice a bit shaky.
He fumbled for his beloved haori. Despite how much the haori meant to him, he felt that it was the right time to give it up temporarily.
He draped it over their frame, making note of where they were so he could send some slayers to render aid.
He took a breath, his entire body feeling weaker. He felt..pathetic. He should’ve told them sooner. He should’ve told them his feelings. Now, he might not even have the chance as they lay on the ground, succumbed to their injuries.
He gritted his teeth as he forced himself to his feet, his eyes finally tearing away from their frame as he made his way to the Muzan fight, hoping that they’d be okay.
