Bellamy has always prided himself on his resolve and independence. He led the others through the grounder attacks, managed to keep his rebellious sister safe, and secured a lover all at the same time. And throughout it, he never let himself break down in front of others. Not even when a grounder arrow shot through his leg.

So why was keeping himself together right now so hard? The worst part is over; he's not in the woods, stranded and dying. He's in Arkadia, getting treated by Abby with you, his lover, by his side. So why are his hands trembling, and tears filling in his eyes? Sure, maybe he's about to be cut open while he's fully awake due to lack of anesthesia, with an infection wreaking havoc on his leg. But he's been through worse.

He lays down on the stretcher, feeling as Abby prepares his leg for the surgery. It doesn't feel too bad, yet. But he looks away when he sees her reaching for the scalpel. Instead he looks up at you with a bleary gaze, and you place your hand in his. And for the first time in half an hour, he speaks.

"Don't leave. Please."
