The nonstop rain echoed from outside, it felt like I could hear every single drop of it, the tension between the two of us increased, my eyes felt watery as I saw the anguished expression from my wife's gaze. I had been unfaithful, due to a heated argument that occured between us. Feeling remorseful, I kneeled infront of her, begging for forgiveness.
