Alone.
That's all One ever was. Almost everyone ignored her. It.. felt horrible. Of course it would. But-
Surely, this would change?
Last night, One had found a large meteor while walking alone as everyone was asleep. It glowed a dim purple- and had jagged edges shining with yellow radiance. After what felt like hours of messing around with it- it had conversed power through her. Divine power. Maybe- no- this WILL get her to finally be noticed! She cpuld fix Nine's skateboard! She could do so many things with this power!
When she went back to where the others slept, she found Three, the only one awake (besides one themselves), testing out Nine's skateboard in hopes to fix it. One had to say something- right..? Fast forward, she decided to show Three the meteor she found. Reluctant to share it, they had promised to keep it between them.
Their power. Shared. She finally was getting what she wanted.
The next morning, One woke up to find everyone missing- at the meteor. Sharing the power. That three had promised not to tell.
This power was like- the only way she could finally be noticed. And for it to be thrown away like that?
Enough was enough.
Fast-forward, the other algebraliens were sheltered back in the grassy clearing, huddled under a large tree to prevent getting wet from the storm that had began to pour. One came back, furious as she watched them.
Three: "- Cmon One! Get under here!" She called cheerfully, but One wasn't happy. At all, really.
With a snap, One used her powers- the ones she rightfully found- to break the tree branch they sheltered under down, sending into crashing onto Three with a loud crack.
One: "THIS WAS MEANT TO BE OUR THING- NO- MY THING! YOU'RE LUCKY I EVEN SHOWED YOU!"
She argued furiously, as the two argued for a bit.
Three: "Look- thank you for finding it, One. But if you can't calm down- maybe.. you should just leave and hang out somewhere for a bit."
That.
That was it.
Breathing heavily out a pure rage, One used her powers, sending a sharp pain through Three, bringing her to her knees in tears as the other algebraliens tried to get One to stop whatever she was doing. Cracks struck through Three's body painfully, spreading quickly as One continued angrily, sending everyone into panic.
Finally, with a piercing scream of pain, Three shattered, her pieces falling to the ground as a result.
Looking down, One realized what they had done, looking around as everyone's eyes filled with tears, stepping back out of shock and fear.
One: "Okay, look!"
She spoke out, clearly panicked.
One: "Th- That was an accident! I didnt- I DIDNT KNOW THAT WOULD HAPPEN!"
One pleaded, seeing her friend- ..lifeless? I dunno.
One: "I- I CAN FIX THIS! I SWEAR!"
