(This is not based off one exact iteration. I took creative liberties and Jenna is an actress in this, just a broadway one. Also I made it less creepy, hope you enjoy. :])

The role of Christine Daaé was always one I wanted to play, it just seemed to fit my range and my personality for that matter. And I’ve already ticked the Addams Family musical of my career bucket list, so why not audition for the Phantom of the Opera next?

I was quickly able to get the part, and spent night after night practicing in the theatre. One with a special tie to the play. Apparently, and this is all just stories told to newbies around who work here, a few years ago there was a stage malfunction which lead to a technician being killed. Something to do with a stage light falling, or a sandbag, or maybe the rig for the big candle opera above the audience that falls during the show? I’m not sure, each story changes that bit, something falling though. However, there was never a body and no records of her death, so it really is just a tall tale to keep the ghost light plugged in after hours.

    So I thought anyways.

It was merely one week in when things went awry, small props and fabrics from costume would go missing. People would hear footsteps when they were meant to be alone, or above the stage in the raptures when no one should be here. Even the smallest things of the green room being cleaned up when people would leave it a mess. In any case, this ghost didn’t seem to be malevolent. I didn’t even believe it until I spotted the glare of the half mask that had gone missing from costumes up in the raptures. Then I checked to see if the actor for Erik was beside me, he was and in his costume, then when I looked back the shine of the mask was gone. Let me tell you, that freaked me the fuck out.

And it just seemed like this occurrences kept their focus on me, like my dressing room being organized even when it was locked, or a flower being dropped off on top of my script. It creeped me out, but it didn’t hurt anyone, not yet anyways…
